Welcome back to Whitney Field

It has been a long hot summer and we are ready for fall polo action. Join us!
Fall Tournaments

Welcome back for the fall edition of “Sundays Fundays” at Aiken Polo Club. Our opening game is this Sunday, September 24th at 1 PM at historic Whitney Field.

First, please join us at a Welcome Reception for all players and social members of the Aiken Polo Club, New Bridge Polo Club and Wagener Polo Club this Saturday, September 23 from 5PM-7PM at the Alan Corey Pavilion on Whitney Field.  Meet the players and catch up with old friends and new for beverages and snacks.  It’s just a little “meet and greet”  to welcome everyone to the fall  season and to thank each and every one of you for your support of our sport!

On Sunday, September 24, “Salsa and Swing”  takes over Whitney Field at 1 pm. Our featured match pits Farmer Road Polo against The Aiken Horse in the opening game of the Corey Cup, a tournament played in memory of Alan Corey, a true polo icon.  One of Alan’s passions was dancing, and to honor his memory, our halftime entertainment will be an exhibition presented by Fusion Dance of Augusta.

Our hitting horse will be available for one hour before & after the game. If you love hitting that little white ball,  contact Tiger Kneece of Polo Adventures. Tiger is a USPA certified instructor and his school is the officially sanctioned resource that Aiken Polo recommends for both children and adults. Tiger Kneece: 803-646-3301 or tigerkneece@bellsouth.net.

Following the game at Whitney Field, make your way over to New Bridge Polo for the finals of the USPA Northrop Knox Cup at 4 PM.

We look forward to seeing you fieldside.

Cheers,

Katherine Thomas
Social Director
