Join us for polo!

Aiken Polo Club has matches open to the public every Sunday, spring and fall at 2pm & 3:30pm. These matches are held on historic Whitney Field, 420 Mead Avenue in Aiken’s historic horse district. The games usually last an hour and a half to two hours. General admission is $5 per person with free parking in the sand lot next to the field. Fieldside parking (limited availability) is $50 per car. Admission to the Alan Lyle Corey Pavilion is $75 per person and includes open bar and catered food.

Cost of entry

Weekday matches are open to the public and they are free to attend. There is generally no announcer, and the game is tailgating only. To find a match please consult our tournament schedule.

Sunday polo matches at Whitney Field, all games start at 3:00. Pavilion access is $50 per person, this includes an open bar and catered food. General admission is $5 per person. Field side parking is $50 per car. Spaces are limited.

Parking

We offer FREE parking for all general admission guests in the sandlot past the main entrance. If you have fieldside parking for the day,  please park your car well behind the boards (50 feet or more). ABSOLUTELY no parking in ditches or at the end of the field for your own safety and the players & horses. 

What to Bring

If you have a parking spot for the day, feel free to make your spot your own tailgate spot with food, tables, chairs and shade. Popup tents are permitted around the field. The horses can jump the boards during play, so be sure to set up a safe distance (approx. 30 feet) from the field boards.

Pavilion Admission & Access

For Sunday polo matches only, you can enjoy access to the Alan Lyle Corey Pavilion. The cost is $50 per person and includes open bar and catered food. 

Restrooms

For your convenience, portable restrooms are located around the polo field.

Dogs at Polo

ALL dogs must be on a leash at all times. Dogs are not encouraged in the pavilion. Watch the match at all times as the ball, and horses, come over the boards during play. Exercise extreme caution when crossing the goal lines at either end of the field.
