Tiger Kneece
Polo Manager
Tiger Kneece is the Aiken Polo Club manager. Tiger is in charge of running our tournaments and practices. He is a former 7-goal player and has won every major tournament in North America. He loves to teach polo and runs the polo school at Aiken Youth Polo.
Coach Tiger Kneece led the Aiken Youth Polo girls’ high school team to victory for the USPA 2021 National Interscholastic/ Intercollegiate Championship. Tiger coaches three Interscholastic/ Intercollegiate teams: a high school girls’ team, a high school open team and the USC-Aiken collegiate team.

Charlie Bostwick
President
Charlie Bostwick is the President of the Aiken Polo Club Board of Directors. Charlie has deep roots in polo and grew up playing on Aiken’s fields along with his brother Ricky and his father Pete. Pete Bostwick, an 8-goal hall-of-fame player, started to play at the club in the 1930s and was one of the club’s main driving forces in the 1960s and 1970s.
Charlie lives in Aiken with his wife Tara and their family.
Pam Gleason
Secretary
Pam Gleason is a polo player and the editor and publisher of The Aiken Horse newspaper. She is also the editor of the annual Aiken Polo Magazine and she coordinates Aiken Polo Club’s marketing efforts in the community and beyond.
Frank Mullins
Board of Directors
Frank Mullins serves as the Chairman and CEO of Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America. Frank has been playing polo for over a decade. Frank fields the Mullins Land Polo team.
Randy Rizor
Board of Directors
Randy Rizor, a colonel in the medical corps of the US Army Reserve, is a doctor at the Physicians Spine and Rehabilitation Specialists of Georgia. An active and enthusiastic player, he can often be found playing in the finals of APC tournaments with his Peachtree team, usually dressed in crimson jerseys. Randy plays here in Aiken and also closer to his home in Atlanta, GA.
Alan Meeker
Board of Directors
Alan Meeker has been involved in equestrian competitions, including three-day eventing, since the age of 10. He started playing polo in the early 90s, and refocused his commitment to the game in 2007. His son, Aidan Meeker, is a rising polo star who plays for Crestview Farms.
Max Hempt
Board of Directors
Max is from a polo family and a fourth generation player. There will be a fifth generation, because both Ellen, 20, and George, 18, are playing polo. Happily, Max’s wife, Amy, is very supportive of family polo. George will be playing with Max for their West Shore Polo Team this season. From their farm in Camp Hill, Pa., the family also continues to campaign Standardbred race horses throughout the U.S. and Canada. Max is President and CEO of his family’s construction business, Hempt Brothers, Inc. Max usually plays the #4 position.
