Junior Polo

Our Junior Program

Our Junior Polo Program aims to introduce young people to the sport of polo in a safe, supportive and fun atmosphere. Our junior players practice on Tuesday afternoons and on Saturday mornings at Winthrop Polo Field on Mead Avenue in downtown Aiken.  There are also occasional exhibition chukkers on Whitney Field during Aiken Polo Club Sunday games.

The junior program is open to any young people who are interested in learning to play polo. Interested in getting involved? Please call or email our polo manager Bill Raab and and he will point you in the right direction. 561-719-3318

The Aiken Junior Polo program is run by Tiger Kneece, a former 7-goal professional player who lives in Aiken with his wife Susie and their family.  Tiger and Susie’s daughter Summer is one of the rising stars of the junior program.

Visit Tiger’s website for for information about playing opportunities for young and new players: www.poloadventures.net

One of the greatest joys of polo is that it can be played by people of all ages. It is not unusual to see two and three generations of the same family playing together.
